DISASTER ON THE LAKE.--The steamboat Wm F. Taylor, on Friday afternoon last, while of the Cattaraugus Creek, took fire, and made her way into Irving, where the passengers and hands on board, aided by the citizens, succeeded in subduing the flames before the fire had seriously injured either her hull, engine or furniture. The steward in attempting to man the small boat, fell overboard and was drowned.
