A new schooner named the NORTHUMBERLAND was launched on Thursday last, from the Cobourg stocks. The NORTHUMBERLAND was built by Mr. James Navagh, for the proprietors, Messrs. Horton & Hamilton. She is 120 feet long, 26 feet 6 inches wide, and 11 feet hold, and will cost L 3,000 (Pounds). She will be square rigged and spread not less than 150 yards of canvass. She will be sailed by Capt. Griggs - Wm. Greenwood, Mate, and a strong crew of experienced men.
