The stmb. OREGON, owned by John Kelderhouse of this city, lost 5,000 bushels of her cargo of grain that was thrown overboard to get her off while she was ashore at Kettle Pt. The barge IOWA which broke loose from the OREGON was loaded with lumber. Both barge and cargo were owned by Mr. Kelderhouse.
