Ferryboat ORLEANS, remodeled for river service by the Cowles shipyards, made her maiden voyage yesterday afternoon between Buffalo and Fort Erie. The ORLEANS swung into service on the 2:30 trip. The WELCOME was not taken off. She was alternated with the ORLEANS. Until the new end-on dock is finished the ORLEANS will load and land at the old pier. The end-on dock will not be completed for a week.
