On Monday (7/4) the stm. PERIWINKLE will leave the foot of Main St. as follows: 1:30 P.M. to breakwater, where regatta and rowing races will be held, fare 15 cents round trip; 1:50 P.M. this trip the boat will follow races from start to finish; fare 50 cents, children 25 cents; 7:30 P.M. moonlight trip to lay off The Front in full view of the fire works, return 10:30, fare 25 cents. Good music on board for all trips.

Between 500 and 600 people paid 50 cents to witness the regatta (on the 4th) from the deck of the PERIWINKLE, but the boat was hardly within a mile of the race at any time, the passengers clained they did not catch sight of it. Considerable indignation was expressed among them.
