Pioneer (Steamboat), 23 Apr 1827

Description
Full Text

The stm. PIONEER, Capt. Miles, it is expected will commence her regular trips between Dunkirk and Buffalo this day. It is expected she will come and return daily. Connected with this boat, there will be a line of stages, running to the west. Travellers by this route will avoid the wretched road through Cattaraugus woods. The trip from this place to Dunkirk, will be a pleasant one; and we should not be surprised if a considerable portion of the travel should take this direction.
