Sandusky, March 27 - Cross lake navigation was opened this afternoon, when the Canadian stm. PREMIER arrived here from Windsor and Pelee with passengers and merchandise. She was the first of the season and beat the D.& C. line by a day and the stm. KIRBY by 2 weeks. This trip was without incident, little trouble being experienced. There is almost no ice.
