The adjustment and appraisal of the fire loss on the excursion stmr. PURITAN of the Crystal Beach Line, which was burned at her moorings in Buffalo harbor early this summer, has just been completed by Edward Gaskin formerly general agent of the Buffalo Drydock Co. representing the owners of the PURITAN and Capt. Manning of Cleveland for the insurance companies. The loss was fixed at $14,532.23.
      It is not yet definitely decided whether the PURITAN will be rebuilt.
