The Maritime History of the Great Lakes
Queen City (Steamboat), 24 May 1851

Description
Full Text

The QUEEN CITY came in early yesterday morning with a fair number of passengers. Although the Detroit & Dunkirk lines make quite a difference in time between this city and New Yorl, still the line is so little known as yet, that passengers take the old line.
Passengers by the QUEEN CITY were only 54 hours from New York to Chicago.
