We understand a trial of speed between the stmys. ROSALINE built by Mr. David Bell of this city, and the MYRTLE, built by Messrs. Kirby of Detroit, took place at Cleveland recently, and as we are pleased to find that Buffalo came of victor. The distance run was 24 miles, which the ROSALINE accomplished in 1:31 , beating the MYRTLE by 7 minutes. The MYRTLE has been held up for some 2 years as a 20 nile per hour boat.
