NEW VESSEL. - The splendid schooner PHILO SCOVILLE came into port yesterday with a cargo of 22,000 bushels of wheat from Chicago. She was built at Cleveland by Quayle & Martin for Philo S. Bemis, of this city. She is 144 feet keel, 30 feet beam, 12 feet 6 inch hold and her custon measurement is 412 tons. The SCOVILLE is an acceptable acquisition to the tonnage of this port. She is commanded by Capt. A.P.B. Scolley, who will render a good account of her sailing qualities as a competitor with vessels of her class.
