A.E. Goodrich, of Chicago, has purchased the steamer SEA BIRD of E.B. Ward for $40,000. She will ply between Chicago and Milwaukee during the coming season.

      THE SEA BIRD FOR CHICAGO. - The steamer SEA BIRD, it is stated, will be in readiness to leave this port for Chicago, on Saturday next. She is now owned by parties in that city, and will henceforth ply from there to Lake Superior. - Detroit Free Press.
