Buffalo - William Murphy has taken the contract of rebuilding the passenger steamer SHREWSBURY to adapt her for the St. Lawrence River service. When she leaves the yard she will be 44 inches narrower, which will permit of her passing through the various canal locks. The change and improvements will cost $10,000.
