The schooner SIRIUS, it is stated, has been chartered to load with oil at Port Sarnia for Liverpool. She has arrived at this port, and will undergo some necessary repairs preparatory to undertaking the intended voyage. - Detroit Free Press.

      WRECK OF AN OIL SHIP. - The Sarnia Observer regrets to learn that the schooner SIRIUS, which left that port on the 11th. of September, freighted with 1,700 barrels of crude oil, was wrecked on Monday last, below Father Point. The cargo was chiefly owned by J. Ellis & Co., of Toronto. - a small portion of it being on account of Messrs. J. & C. Mackenzie, of that place.
