The stmr. SULTANA, Capt. Appleby, touched at this port yesterday forenoon, on her way from Buffalo to Chicago. She had on board Company E, 3d U.S. Artillery. This Company, we learn from the Buffalo Courier, have lately been stationed at Fort Adams, Newport, Rhode Island, and they now are en route for Fort Snelling, Minnesota Territory.
