The schr. SWEEPSTAKES which was built at Cleveland by Quayle & Martin in 1856, and at one time considered one of the handsomest vessels on the lakes, has been rebuilt during the past winter at the Detroit Drydock Co's yard at an expense amounting to nearly her original cost, and is once more a first class grain vessel. SHe formerly classed 457 tons burden, old style, has changed hands on several occasions, and until recetly was owned in Chicago.
