Capt. Ralph Meyers of Tonawanda, who has sailed the stm. NIKO of the Hamilton Transportation Co., of Chicago for many years, was today appointed commodore of the company's fleet. The company has at present 8 lumber carrying vessels. President Hamilton has also appointed Capt. Kenneth Mackenzie as master of the NIKO and Capt. Peter Ward as master of the TEMPEST. He named Capt. William Johnson as master of the barge A. STEWART and Capt. Ralph McGrath as master of the INTERLAKEN.
