LAUNCHES. - The immense accumulation of goods in the warehouses of our forwarding merchants, in the summer season, have stimulated the citizens here and at the various ports on the Lake, to increase the facilities for transportation; accordingly, scarce a week elapses, without an announcement of some additional flotilla. On Wednesday last, a fine schooner, the CITIZEN, 160 tons burthen, was launched at Erie, Pa.; and preparations are making to lay the keel for a large steamboat, to be ready for the opening of navigation next spring.
In the early part of next week, a beautifully modelled schooner, rising 200 tons burthen, built by Messrs. Carrick & Bidwell, for the New York & Ohio Line, Messrs. Smith, Macy & Russell, Agents; will be launched at Black Rock. She is named the TOLEDO, and as far as we can judge, is a splendid specimen of naval architecture, and well worthy of the line to which she is to be attached.

MARITIME. - The new schooner TOLEDO, mentioned in our paper of Saturday, will be launched, wind and weather permitting, on Thursday, the 23d. inst., at 11 o'clock, A.M. The extent of water into which this beautiful vessel will descend will render the sight, one of the most interesting with which we have lately been greeted.
