Description
Full Text

A strange vessel, with the name F.R. TRANGEMONTAGUE, which we will not attempt to abbreviate, but leave it for the reader to fathom, made her appearance here yesterday forenoon, hailing from Montreal. This we understand, is her first trip to these waters, having formerly cruised on the seaboard, plying between the provinces of Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. She passed on to Chatham, where she loads for Montreal direct, at least so says general report.
