FROM ASHTABULA AND ALONG SHORE. Vessels Building, &c. - From a conversation with Capt. J.B. Hall, of Ashtabula, this morning, says the Cleveland Herald, of the 22nd. inst., we gather the following items of interest. There is building at Ashtabula the fore -and-aft schooner ADRIATIC, measuring (Custom House) as follows---Length 103 4-12 feet, width 22 9-12 feet, depth 8 11-12 feet, tonnage 191 54-95. She is built by H.C. Ackley, at a cost of $8,000, and will be sailed by Capt. J.H. Hall. She will be launched on Saturday, and will be ready for sea in two working days thereafter. Capt. Hall says she is built as strong as possible, and is regarded as a fine vessel.
Capt. Thayer, at the same port, is building for himself a schooner of 150 tons, to be out during the latter part of May
At Conneaut, Capt. H. Howard is building for E.K. Bruce, of Buffalo, a schooner of 400 tons. Isreal Shaler is the Master builder. She will be ready at the opening of navigation.
At Madison Dock, Capt. Bailey is building a schooner of 300 tons.
At Euclid Creek, a large vessel is being built by Capt. Treat, but this we have noticed before.
