Note: " Darling Howard, This is the ship that we went on, Monday noon, and we did not get off until Wednesday night. We had the best state-room on the boat, except the Captain's room, which was right next ours, and just back of the pilot house. It had its own little toilet room. I have marked it with a cross. Love from Grandman"
