The Milwaukee Tug Company's new steam barge was launched at the Milwaukee shipyard Thursday afternoon. She was named the VERONICA, after Mrs. Conrad Starke. She is 215 feet over all; 37 feet beam and 19 feet hold. Her engine is a fore and aft compound 24 x 40 and 40 inch stroke.
