Description
Full Text

Word has been received at this port yesterday that the tug E.B. WARD JR., which left this port the latter end of October for New Orleans, arrived at her destination Monday night, having been a little over 22 days in the passage. Her route from this port was via the Welland Canal, St. Lawrence River, Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf, an estimated distance of 3,972 miles. The WARD will run between the Gulf and New Orleans and the result of the experiment will be looked forward to with interest by many of the tug owners in this section.
