The bark S.V.R. WATSON, which was rescued from the bottom at Pt. au Pelee and afterwards ashore while on the passage to Buffalo seems destined to go to destruction notwithstanding she has been taken to a place of comparative safety. She lies sunk in the Niagara River, abandoned as it were, and apparently uncared for. It rarely happens that such instances of neglect are put on record, whether on the part of the underwriters, or others it would be difficult to determine. Money would have been saved had she never been removed from where she went down.
