LAUNCH. -- On Saturday last, the AMAZON, a beautiful craft 300 tons burthen, built by J.P Gay & Co., for North & Dunning, was launched at the builders ship-yard. The WIDE AWAKE, owned by Captain Gates, was launched last week. She is a first class vessel. -- Milan Press.

      The schooner WIDE AWAKE, built by A. & D.E. Bailey, at Madison Dock, for
I. Spangler & Co., of this city, and S.J. Holley, of Oswego, came into the river a day or two since, and has today been measured. Her dimensions are, length on deck 130.9 feet, beam 26 feet, hold 10.29 feet, and her burthen 354 65-95 tons. She is a fore-and-aft schooner, and a fine looking vessel. She will be sailed by W.W. Wells. --- Cleveland Herald.
