The U.S. District Court was engaged yesterday upon the case of the U.S. vs. Prop. WISCONSIN, seized for a violation of the Revenue Laws, in landing railroad iron at this port, without reporting the same at the Collectors's office. On a summary examination of the testimony, in pursuance of a petition for the remission of the forfeiture, the facts were certified to the Secretary of the Treasury for his decision thereon. - Ibid.
