Detroit, Sept. 17 - The stm. WESTFORD was sold at noon today by the U.S. Marshal to john J. Bowen (should be Boland) of Buffalo. Bowen who, it is understood, was bidding for the mortgagee, paid $4,200 for the boat. Another sale was the schr. MONITOR, bought by Harris W. Baker, the wrecker , for $1,175. The MONITOR was owned by the Hammermill Paper Co.
