Full Text

Many remember the fish tug WILL & FRANK. It was built in Erie, Pa., in 1911 for Frank Helwig and Willard Babb. In later years former Mayor Walter F. Murray acquired Babb's interest and a fish company was organized called Murray & Helwig. They fished out of Dunkirk until the early thirties. The boat was 57 feet long and had a beam of 15'8" and a draft of 5'9". - L.V.
