At 7:30 last evening a select throng embarked on the stm. A.J. WRIGHT on the invitation of L.B. Fortier. The steamer started from the foot of Main St. and steamed out of the harbor and to the river into the face of a superb sunset. The objective point was the Bedell House, Grand Island, and the prospective objective the discussion of a clam chowder....
Refreshements were again partaken of and at a late hour the WRIGHT cast loose her moorings from the Bedell House quay and steamed up river tying up at the foot of Main St. at 1 A.M.
