REID HERE TO TOW KONGO TO PORT HURON SHIPYARD.
Capt. Reid, the Port Huron wrecker who recently bought the old wooden ship KONGO at this port, arrived in Buffalo yesterday to make preparations to take her to his plant at Port Huron where he is going to rebuild her to conform to the Canadian registry. He will take her out of here the latter part of the week in tow of the tug FISHER.
The KONGO is an ancient craft and has been out of commission for some time, but Capt. Reid expects to make a good staunch ship out of her when he gets her to the Port Huron yard.
