Full Text

Capt. William Jamieson has sold his pet canal schr. G.G.
HOUGHTON to W.H. Marsh of Oswego for $6,000 cash. She was the
last of the once large and fine fleet of grain carriers hailing
from Milwaukee. "Deacon" Jamieson had constant good luck with
the HOUGHTON, chiefly because of good management. He has nothing
in view at present.
