The AMERICAN GIANT is the name of a new schooner launched
recently from the yard of William Crosthwaite, of Bay City,
formerly of Buffalo. Her dimensions are as follows: Length, 154
ft.; beam, 31 ft.; hold, 9 1/2 ft. She is a three-in-after or 3
masted schooner, of 365 tons new measurements. He is also
building a tug named the MAY DAY, 67 ft. long, 14 ft. beam and 6
ft. hold.
