The new schr. TOPSY, recently built at Port Huron, Michigan,
made her first appearance in our harbor yesterday with 115,000
ft. of lumber, and 18,000 pieces of lath from Bay City. The
following figures show her dimensions: Length of keel 100 ft.;
breadth of beam 25 ft., and depth of hold 8 ft. She is wire
rigged, and is in every respect a finely constructed craft. She
hails from Port Huron. Chicago Tribune.
