The schr. JOHN THURSBY, owned by E.S.J. Bemis, was recently brought down from Irving, where she was built by Lapage &
Martell, to have her spars put in , and to be fitted out here. She is to be sailed by Capt. Fitch, principally as a grain
vessel. The THURSBYis 141 ft. over all, 46 ft.(?) beam, and 11ft. 4 inches hold; of about 365 tons, and classed A1.
