The handsome stmy FALCON which for many years ran between Ferry St. and
the Falconwood Club of Grand Island, has been sold to George Maul of Port
Clinton. The price paid for the vessel, it is said, was $10,000.
The FALCON was built here in 1887. She is 90 ft. long, 17 ft. beam and
7 ft. depth. She was considered the fastest yacht of her size on the
Niagara River. The FALCON will be run between Port Clinton and the islands.
