The new steel tug JOHN KELDERHOUSE, built and owned by Benjamin L. Cowles, former harbormaster, was given a trial trip yesterday out in the lake. Commodore Cowles was at the wheel. As the handsome craft sped out of the harbor she was given quit an ovation by the other boats. The tug is 81 ft. long, 20 ft. beam and 10 ft. 6 inches in depth.
