Steamers have commenced running between Cleveland and Detroit. A line
has been organized to run between Buffalo, Cleveland and Detroit.
Gen. C.M. Reed is building a new tug for use in this harbor and has
named it the HARRISON, in honor of Mr. James Harrison of Buffalo, N.Y.
Capt. M. Magill, so well known to our lake men, has been selected to run
this new tug, and from all we hear she will be a bully craft and will have a
bully commander.
