The sew steamship ROUMANIA, owned by John Hutchinson and James Corrigan
of Cleveland, was launched at Davidson's yard, West Bay City, yesterday
afternoon. Her length over all is 300 ft., beam 40 ft., depth of hold 22
ft. She has 2 scotch boilers 10 1/2 by 11 1/2 ft. and a triple expansion
engine with cylinders of 21, 32 and 54 inches and a stroke of 48 inches.
Her cost is $140,000 and her capacity 2,600 tons.
