Description
Full Text

George Goble of Oswego is trying to make a clipper out of the schr.
COMANCHE. Last year that vessel was wrecked on Lake Ontario while bound for
Chicago with a cargo fo grain. She was released this spring and has been
rebuilt. The other day Mr. Goble went down to New York and purchased the
entire suit of sails that was carried by the yacht PRISCILLA when she beat
the GENESTA. This canvas will be fitted to the COMANCHE and it is expected
that she will do something astounding. This is going the rounds any way.
