We notice with pleasure that large Cables, Anchors, and other apparatus for the Steam Boat, now building on Lake Erie, have reached this city on their way to Buffalo. We are informed it is the intention of the projectors of this novel enterprise residing in this city, to put the boat in operation by the 20th of June next. we also learn, that contractors have gone on from Boston, to construct two Light Houses on Lake Erie; that the oil for them is in the river and that it is intended to light them at the opening of the navigation in the spring.
