Tonawanda, April 4 - The tug HOLLOWAY, which was rebuilt during the
winter was launched in Tonawanda Creek last night. The tug is owned by
William Mago and has been renamed the JOHN MAHAR, after the president of the
American Engine & Boiler Co. New boilers will be installed this week and
she will be put in commision, towing canal boats about the Tonawanda ports.
Capt. William Mago will be master of the MAHAR.
