The old tug MENTOR, at Houghton, has been bought by A. Green of
Hancock, and is to be rebuilt and will be used, with a wrecking scow, for
wrecking purposes. This will be the first outfit of the sort in Portage
Lake. The MENTOR was for many years owned by Calumet & Hecla Co.
