LAUNCH. - The bark CHANDLER J. WELLS, was successfully launched from Quayle & Martin's ship yard yesterday afternoon. The launch ws witnessed by a crowd of admiring spectators. The CHANDLER J. WELLS is owned by Capt. Perew, of Buffalo, and will be completely fitted out for the world of waves in about two weeks. So says the Cleveland Leader, of the 30th.

      BEAUTIFUL FIGURE HEAD. - A beautiful carved, and life-like bust of the Hon. Chandler J. Wells, Mayor of Buffalo, was received by H. Johnson & Co., on Saturday, consigned to Quayle & Martin, to ornament the prow of the new vessel just constructed by them for Capt. Perew, of Buffalo. - Cleveland Herald.
