The stm. KEWEENAW is not only equal to any craft ever put afloat on the lakes in point of construction, (and as such Detroit has just cause to be proud of her,) but she has also proved hereself one of the fleetest of our "floating palaces." She arrived here yesterday from Lake Superior, and on the trip down she ran from Dettour to Gratiot in 16 hours and 8 minutes. This time has never been beaten and will probably not be very soon. - Det. Post.
