      The old stm. DIAMOND which for a year past, has been lying sunk at the upper end of the city, has been raised by means of pumps and otherwise to have her machinery taken out of her and the hull converted into a vessel. She was towed down yesterday afternoon to some of the yards at the lower part of the city.

      The hull of the old stm. DIAMOND sunk again yesterday morning somewhere down at the lower end of the city. The stm. CLARA took a steam pump during the forenoon for the purpose of raising her
again.
