Description
Full Text

The well known stm. BALTIC, one of the olden time, is at present being dismantled and converted into a lumber barge., The propeller engines, which are of the side-screw order, are bign removed under the superintendence of Capt. D.G. McAlpine, and are to be sold for other purposes. The BALTIC in her day, was one of the finest passenger steamers of the Buffalo and Chicago line, and there are doubtless thousands yet living, who remember well of the pleasant tours they have made on that once noble craft. - Detroit Free Press, 15th.
