THE R.H. FOSS. -- The propeller R.H. FOSS, recently fitted up at Chicago as an elevator to be used in Buffalo harbor, passed down last evening en route for her destination. She is supplied with the complete arrangements for the reception and disposition of grain from vessels to canal boats, and is prepared to accomplish the same with best possible dispatch. - - - Detroit Free Press.

The prop. R. FOSS, which was fitted up last year as a floating elevator at Chicago and sent to Buffalo for use in that harbor, has we learn been sold by Irwin & Morey to the Messrs. Sturges for $22,000, and will continue in the same service at that port the coming season. - Detroit Free Press
