      A new steam barge intended for the ore trade between Frankfort and Escanaba, has just been completed at jone's shipyard. She will carry about 200 tons of ore. In addition to her steam power she has also a mast and sail. She will be ready to leave in the course of a few days, having been yesterday towed up to drydock for the adjustment of her wheel. She is called the FRANKFORT, and will be commanded by Capt. Shields, a competent nvaigator. - Detroit Post.
