The tug ERIE has been sold by the Great Lakes Towing Co. to L.P. & J.A. Smith of Cleveland, dredging contractors. The Erie was formerly used as a harbor tug at Buffalo. The boat was placed in ordinary at Tonawanda last season, remaining out of commission during the entire season.
