A new vessle recently launched at South Haven, and was towed to Chicago for completion. She is a 3-masted fore-and-after, and is named the GEO. L. SEAVER. Her dimensions are as follows: keel, 120 ft., over all 130 ft., beam 25 1/2 ft., hold 6 ft., burthen 175 tons. She will cost complete $23,000, and is owned by Snell, Ingraham & Co., of Chicago.
